Which receipt printers work with Lazygrid POS?
Lazygrid supports LAN-connected receipt printers that use the ESC/POS protocol. That includes EPSON, Xprinter, Star Micronics, Sunmi and other ESC/POS brands. We built broad protocol compatibility and custom handling for the key commands used in day-to-day POS printing.
Can I use a receipt printer I already own?
Usually, yes. Check that it has a LAN or Ethernet connection and supports ESC/POS. Send us the brand and model before installation if you want us to confirm the setup.
Why does Lazygrid recommend LAN for receipt printers?
A wired network connection gives a fixed counter or kitchen printer a stable path from the POS. It also lets multiple Lazygrid devices send jobs to the same printer without relying on a cable attached to one iPad.
Can one order print to several kitchen stations?
Yes. Lazygrid can route items by category group, so food can print in the kitchen while drinks print at the bar or coffee station. You can also control copies, ticket size and how repeated items appear.
Do online orders print automatically?
Lazygrid supports printing for both in-store and online orders. Each workflow can use its own printers and routing rules so the right team receives the right docket.
Which label printers work with Lazygrid?
Brother label printers are directly integrated with Lazygrid. They can print order and drink labels, and support product barcode and inventory-label workflows for retail businesses.
Can I print in more than one language?
Yes. Printing options include language, number of copies, font size, product aliases and item grouping. The available result depends on the order content and the printer configuration.
What information should I provide before buying a printer?
Send us the brand, model number, available connection ports and what you need to print. We will confirm whether it should be configured as an EPSON, Xprinter, generic ESC/POS or Brother label printer.
